YOUR PRIVACY / YOUR CHOICE
Your quiz.
Your inbox.
You can meet your study self, try a question and keep your work without giving us an email address.
No email needed. Result email is currently unavailable. You can read your complete result, use the practice tools and save your files without sharing an email address.
While you take the quiz
Your result is calculated in your browser. The eight answers and the quiz event code are kept in this tab’s session storage so a reload can offer to continue. Starting a new quiz clears the previous answers. Closing the tab normally ends the session, although browsers may restore sessions.
The event code identifies which quiz link you followed, such as an event link or the general quiz. It does not affect your score. Your email address, custom plan and practice text are not stored in session storage.
The quiz adds no advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting service may process normal technical request data, such as IP addresses and access logs. Other StudyPuff pages have their own privacy practices.
Your practice and plan stay on this page
If you choose “Start studying”, the link carries only your selected study-self identifier (Sprinter, Steady Learner, Deep Diver, Strategist or Power Planner) to the signed-in app. It does not include your eight answers, plan or practice text. On the desk you can choose to save its starting tip for your account in that browser, skip it, or remove it later. The app has its own privacy information.
Your practice question, source details, reference answer, note, check status, return date and cue are held only in the current page. They are not stored in session storage or local storage, sent to the quiz server, or included in a result email. A typed scratch attempt stays in the page and is not exported. The app does not upload an attempt you make in your notebook or say aloud.
The topic, first date and duration for the separate three-session plan also stay in the current page. Save any file you want to keep before leaving or reloading. Starting a new quiz clears the practice and plan in the page. You can also restart the practice without changing the eight quiz answers.
The generic return coach cannot retrieve a private question. Use it with your downloaded practice card or notebook. No private question or answer is included in the public return link.
The files you choose to save
Each download is made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded when you create it. You control the file and where you share or store it.
- HTML profile guide: your profile, tailored tips and writing space. If you have built a three-session plan, it also includes your topic, dates, durations and activities. It contains no email address, raw answer list or private practice question.
- PNG study-self card: only the profile name, illustration, motto and public card text. No quiz answers, email address, topic or schedule are included.
- Private HTML practice card: your question, source details, reference answer, note, checked or still-to-check status, and any return date or cue you chose. The reference and note begin hidden in a reveal section, but they remain inside the file. This is a practice aid, not encryption or access protection. Share the file only if you want to share its contents.
- One-question return calendar (.ics): your question, chosen return date and cue. It omits the reference answer and note. Importing it shares the included question with your chosen calendar service. The file does not set an alarm; your calendar may apply its own settings.
- Three-session plan calendar (.ics): your topic, the three session dates, planned duration and activities. Opening and importing it puts that information into the calendar service you choose, under that service’s privacy settings.
The quiz does not connect to a calendar or create events automatically. The three-session calendar uses all-day entries on your first date and two and six days later. That is an example schedule, not an optimal timetable. The practice return calendar uses the single date you choose. You can change dates and choose a time after importing. If you print your result after making a plan, the printout includes it.
Optional result email, when enabled
If result email is enabled, asking for one sends your address, eight answers, quiz version and event code to the delivery endpoint, together with your delivery confirmation and the technical tokens used to check and retry the request. The endpoint calculates the result and sends the matching profile and study tips. It does not receive your custom topic, plan, practice question, reference or note.
The application does not write submissions to a database or disk, or log them. The prepared integration uses Resend to deliver the message and Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. These providers process technical or delivery data under their own service terms; their logs are separate from the quiz application.
The delivery form is for people aged 18 or over, matching StudyPuff’s current website policy. Everyone can take the quiz and save a guide without requesting an email. A result email is a one-off request and does not enrol you in the newsletter or research.
Result email is not active. If it becomes available, this notice will be updated with the delivery service’s privacy details before the form is offered.
The newsletter is a separate signup
The newsletter link opens StudyPuff’s existing Google Form. Only completing that separate signup requests the newsletter. Reading a result or requesting a result email does not subscribe you. Review the information on that form before submitting.
